    Does Green Tea have caffeine?

  2. damien

Yes, in fact, all real teas have at least some caffeine. That is of course unless they have been decaffeinated, but still some caffeine remains.

Do you know if the positive effects of green tea are dimished if you add honey and powdered milk? I’ve been seeing a lot of blog posts lately talking about the benefits of green tea and I’ve started drinking 2 or 3 cups a day. However, I’m pretty sure that I read somewhere that you’re not suppossed to add anything to the tea.

I have heard of that, Marelisa, but I wasn’t sure. Thanks for pointing that out!

Hi there. Firstly I wanted to tell you that I’m one of your new RSS subscribers. I saw your comment on Ririan Project.
To add to the entry. I recently started drinking tea thanks to a friend of mine. I’m quite fond of green and white tea. Not only are the health benefits there, there is also the zen of tea preparation as well, especially if you’re using loose tea leaves. The calm as the tea steeps can really be very relaxing, especially if you have a tea that is fragrant.

I agree, even creating tea can be a relaxing process.
